I now have a better understanding of the dangers of using social media and what can be done to reduce them after finishing this program. As a consequence, I intend to alter certain aspects of my social media use to better safeguard my data and be secure online. I think it's crucial to use social media wisely, making sure it doesn't have a detrimental effect on one's well-being and to others. Social media should be used to build one self and others and not to destroy. I will thus make an effort to limit the amount of time I spend on social media and resist the need to continuously check my alerts. Instead, I will place a higher priority on in-person interactions including spending time with friends and family, working out, and doing hobbies.
